BATESVILLE, AR (KAIT) – Family Violence Prevention, Inc. is holding its 23rd Annual Candlelight Vigil Oct. 11.
The vigil, held every year in memory of those who have lost their lives to domestic violence, will have a display of the Silent Witness and Clothesline projects at 5 p.m.
Beginning at 6 p.m., guest speakers will take the stage including Honorable Judge Chaney Taylor, Director of North Central AHEC Dennis Moore, and Julie Petty with Partners for Inclusive Communities, said a spokesperson for the prevention center.
Vocalist Katina Erwin and Fusion Dance Academy will give special performances as well.
According to Family Violence Prevention, the vigil will be held in the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) Indepedence Hall.
