The Arkansas State baseball team held its annual MLB Scout Day at Tomlinson Stadium and Kell Field on Tuesday.
Current A-State baseball players went through fielding, hitting and pitching drills in front of 16 Major League Baseball scouts and representatives from the MLB Scouting Bureau.
Players were timed in a 60-yard dash, took batting practice and went through infield and outfield drills. The evaluation process ended with a three-inning intra-squad game, with Arkansas State's draft-eligible pitchers all taking the mound during the scrimmage.
The team is in the midst of its fall camp, which began Sept. 12 and will end at the end of October with the Red Wolf Series.
