Cotton farmers offering $10,000 reward for information on burned cotton

SENATH, MO (KAIT) - Cotton farmers are offering a $10,000 reward for information on several cotton bales that were destroyed in a fire over the weekend.

Steve Harris with Farmer's Union Gin lost two modules and Dalton Cotton Company lost one in what Senath Fire Department believes to be arson.

Senath Police Chief Omar Karnes says the estimated value of the cotton lost is around $15,000.

The Dunklin County Sheriff's Department and Senath Police Department are working the investigation, and Farmer's Union Gin, Dalton Cotton Company, Four-Way Gin and farmers are offering the reward.
