BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Arkansas State Police say a
man in Baxter County was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened Oct. 8.
According to the ASP, 23-year-old Derek Long, of
Franklin, was traveling westbound on the HWY 62 bypass when a Ford driven by
Kayla D. Brown, 20, of Mountain Home, failed to yield at the Rossi Road intersection and
pulled into the path of Long's motorcycle.
Police said Brown was taken to the Baxter County Regional
Medical Center for treatment.
