"The electronic cigarette has helped me no end and it is the best product I have, just like a real cigarette, and it is nice to know I can now smoke to my hearts content in the warm,” said Celia Hayes, e cigarette user. “Also, my youngest granddaughter suffers real bad Asthma and I am now allowed to smoke in my daughters home with it, as they are all none smokers they are pleased as well.”
This is actually a fairly common scenario among tobacco smokers. Most of the time, they are surrounded by people who would love for nothing else but to be rid of the foul tobacco smoke odor that clings onto their clothes, in their car, or in the room.
Ever since these e cigs came out in the market, a lot of curiosity has been piqued because of its promise to do away with all the nasty things usually associated with smoking. Some people, however, feared that the vapor may have some sinister ingredients just lurking underneath its harmless image.
A new study published recently at the Inhalation Toxicology Journal, however, debunked these misconceptions about the vapors present in the electric cigarettes. According to the study, smokeless cigarettes most certainly do not pose any of the dangers that regular tobacco usually carries.
Therefore, not only does it lessen the exposure of the smoker - or in this case, the vapers (because they smoke vapor cigarettes) - to harmful toxins, but also, the people who may be in danger of inhaling second-hand tobacco smoke. In other words, it’s definitely in the clear when it comes to being user-friendly.
Dr. Murray Laugesen, a Public Health Medicine Specialist from New Zealand, did not at all seem surprised by this finding. “The results of this study confirm the findings of my last 4 years of research,” he said confidently. “E-cigarettes pose no discernible risk to public health.”
Given this good news, therefore, it would be up to the consumers whether or not they will take these findings to heart and seriously consider switching to e cigs. From the looks of it, however, it does seem like it is the best alternative out there today to the harmful tobaccos. Electroniccigarettehub.org helps smokers quit not only by giving the information they need about e-cigs, but also by providing free e cigarette starter kits for those who may still be undecided about converting.
