JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Hundreds attended the annual Valley
View PTA Fall Festival this weekend.
The event featured 32 game booths this year, including "Pie
the Principal" and the "Toilet Toss."
Families could also enjoy different types of food, and kids
could play on several inflatables.
Organizer Shelly Anderson says the PTA already planned out
what the proceeds will benefit this year.
"We are trying to raise money for technology for our campus,"
she said. "We want to canvas the entire campus, all four buildings, with
technology equipment, and of course that takes funding. And so, why not do it
in a fun fashion like this at our Fall Festival, have all the kids out for a
really great time."
Anderson says the Fall Festival usually brings in about
$16,000, but this time around the goal has been set higher.
This year, the PTA hopes to collect $20,000.
