Eeeek! This morning I was a ball of nerves and nausea from making the big announcement about my pregnancy and Baby It Up. Josh and Amanda have been so excited to reveal the news to you guys; the three of us had such a fun time coming up with how we wanted to tell our Good Morning Region 8 viewing family. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Once I learned I was with child and this one would stick, I knew that other women had to have some of the same anxiety I've been experiencing. Baby It Up is an idea that developed with these fears and excitement. A new mother can have so many highs and lows with her pregnancy and I've experienced many in the last year. I invite each and every one of you to join me on this roller coaster of hormones and emotion. Perhaps you are a first time mom or dad-to-be, a grandparent, an aunt or uncle, or someone who is curious about the birth process. I think just about all of can fit any of those roles. Let's talk about it all through Baby It Up!
Not only will we be talking about the good, but you can expect some difficult topics as well. Pregnancy, birth, and the first years of your child's life can be tumultuous and tremendous. I will ask for your help every day in coming up with ideas for stories, from advice from you who are already moms and grandparents, to things that you want answered about this crazy ride. I will talk to friends, doctors, and others about the pregnancy process. Thanks for joining me and hey, I'm already looking for ideas for the first Baby It Up on-air segment. We've got this blog and Facebook for you to share ideas and thoughts. I can't wait to hear from you!
Babyin' It Up,
Sarah
