Police arrest wanted man and woman who helped

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – Police have captured a wanted man who they say broke into a Strawberry home and stole several guns and ammunition.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Donovan Jones was captured sleeping in a bed in a Sharp County home Monday afternoon.

Police say Jones was sleeping in a home in Poughkeepsie and was arrested without incident.

Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson tells us that his department received a tip that Jones was staying with someone in Sharp County.

Police also arrested 30-year-old Natosha Clifton for hindering apprehension. Police say she helped Jones escape from Lawrence County.

Both are in the Lawrence County Jail.
