JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling over 6,000 kids hoodies and t-shirts because of lead standards.

According to the CPSC, about 6,200 kids fleece hoodies and t-shirt sets are being recalled because the surface coating on the zipper contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standards.

The hoodies and t-shirt sets were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide, from October 2011-December 2011.
