SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – The Sharp County Sheriff's Department said a woman who walked away from community service has been caught.

According to the Sharp County Sheriff's Department, 34-year-old Christy Lee Vissering was captured in Titus County, Texas either late Thursday night or early Friday morning. Police said she had walked away from work detail at the Sharp County Courthouse.

Police said Vissering was found with her husband, Billy Roswell, who will be charged with aiding escape.

Officers initially thought the red 1997 Nissan pickup the couple escaped in belonged to Roswell, but they have since found that the truck was stolen property.

Vissering was in jail on charges of criminal impersonation, and a felony warrant out of Titus County, Texas for failure to appear on the offense of credit card abuse.

A felony charge of escape in the third degree has been issued for Christy Vissering.
