Most wanted suspect in custody

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT)- The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office has one of their most wanted in their custody tonight.

According to Sheriff Jody Dotson, Franklin "Peewee" Carothers, 22, was wanted on an alias bench warrant for residential burglary, breaking and entering, theft of property and criminal mischief. Dotson says that warrant was issued in July of this year.

Carothers was then placed on the sheriff's office most wanted list on their website.

Dotson says Carothers learned of the warrant and turned himself in to the Poinsett County Sheriff's Office Tuesday. The Poinsett Sheriff's Office contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and deputy traveled to Poinsett County to get Carothers.

Carothers' bond was set at $10,000.00. His is expected in Circuit Court on November 28th.
