One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

The 2-year-girl who was the center of a multi-state AMBER Alert was found safe at Southand Park Gaming and Racing in West Memphis Friday.
Lawrence County, AR (KAIT) - Two Swifton residents are behind bars tonight after sheriff's deputies found meth in their car during a traffic stop on Highway 63.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's office, Roger Dodd, 61, and Dwain Dodd, 59, were arrested during the stop.
Deputies say when Dodd stepped out of the vehicle he threw a glass pipe and broke it. They confirmed it had meth in it.
In the vehicle, deputies found meth ice and several more glass pipes with meth along with nearly $4,500 in cash.
Both Roger Dodd and Dwain Dodd were transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
They've been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with evidence.
