LITTLE ROCK, AR - Politicians are planning to mark the Fourth of July holiday in a more traditional way, hitting the campaign trail. The state's Democratic Party has organized a bus tour of northeast Arkansas cities tomorrow. The tour includes stops at celebrations in Portia, Corning, Piggott and Pocahontas.
State party Executive Director Michael Cook said the holiday is good opportunity for candidates to interact with the public.
Senator Blanche Lincoln, Secretary of State Charlie Daniels, State Auditor Jim Wood and Treasurer Gus Wingfield are among those joining the bus tour.
