Lawrence County Sheriff Jody Dotson has confirmed the body of a young female has been found in the Black River near the Lawrence and Randolph County lines.
Authorities say they have found a child's body believed to be that of an 18-month-old girl as they continue to investigate a series of Kansas farm deaths.
A body recovered amid an intensive search is believed to be that of a missing 18-month-old girl whose mother was found dead along with two men on a Kansas farm days ago, authorities said Sunday.

A months-long investigation by multiple departments led to the arrests Thursday of 14 people.
GREENE COUNTY, AR
(KAIT) – Police say a man walking along Highway 412 was hit and killed by a
semi Monday afternoon.
According to Arkansas State Police, 27-year-old Blake
Howerton was walking along Highway 412 around 2pm when he stepped in front of a
semi and was killed.
The driver of the
semi, Brandon Snipes of New Albany, Mississippi was not injured.
Police the accident happened just before the Arkansas,
Missouri state line.
The semi driver locked up the brakes after hitting the
man, causing his load to shift and damaging his tractor-trailer.
Police say they have handled over the case to the
prosecuting attorney's office to determine of any charges will be filed.
