One killed, two injured in Hwy 49B accident Saturday night

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – One man was killed and two others injured after a two vehicle accident on Highway 49B in Craighead County.

According to Arkansas State Police, 62-year-old John Neill of Jonesboro was killed when his pickup truck took too sharp of a turn and ran into oncoming traffic hitting a jeep.

Neill was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Two women in the jeep were taken to a local hospital. Police say both had minor injuries.
