A-State became bowl eligible for the fifth time over the last eight seasons, including the last two in a row, after defeating North Texas 37-19 . . . The Red Wolves have won 12 of their last 13 conference games, including the last four in a row . . . With its victory over North Texas, ASU has now won seven consecutive road games against conference opponents for its most since also recording seven road wins against Southland Conference opponents from 1973-75 . . . ASU claimed its eighth straight victory over North Texas for its longest winning streak against any opponent in school history . . .
