LITTLE ROCK, AR - Six people were injured over the July Fourth weekend in boating accidents on Arkansas lakes.  The state Game & Fish Commission says three of the injuries occured when a boat exploded on Lake Ouachita west of Hot Springs.

The ski boat exploded on Lake Oachita about 4 p.m. Sunday, after the floor of the boat caught fire.  One of the injured was taken to the burn unit of Arkansas Children's Hospital at Little Rock.

On Greers Ferry Lake in north-central Arkansas, a brother and a sister riding separate jet skis collided with each other about 5 p.m. Sunday.  The sister was airlifted by helicopter to a Little Rock hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, while the brother wasn't hurt.

In northern Arkansas, on Lake Norfork, two people were injured in a separate boating accident.
