POPLAR BLUFF, MO - Two fans of President Bush are hoping to persuade the nation's chief executive to visit southeast Missouri.

Hardy Billington and David Hahn of Poplar Bluff are trying to collect 10,000 signatures on petitions requesting a presidential visit.  They've been gathering signatures for the past two weeks, handing out their petition at churches, businesses and outdoor events.

Billington has also paid for a billboard inviting Bush to the city.  The billboard also expresses support for men and women in the military.
