Robbery Caught On Tape

It's probably a cliche to say, "crime doesn't pay". But in tonight's featured Crimestoppers crime, at the very least we can say, crime doesn't pay very well. Check out this surveillance video from Flash Market on South Caraway from early Monday morning. Concentrate on the right hand side of the screen. Two males wearing cloth masks, probably panty hose, come in and produce a small gun. They ask the clerk to empty the register. She pauses, because in her words the gun seemed, "toy like". But, the robber shows the weapon again, and this time, she gives them the money: two, 20 dollar bills. That's right, these two thugs are looking at charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault for a total of 40 dollars. If you think you may know who these easy to buy off crooks are, call CRIMESTOPPERS, 935-STOP or toll free, 888-566-STOP. You will be given a number, and if your tip results in an arrest, your number is worth cash. And I can promise you, it will be more than 40 dollars.
