JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Cornerstone United Methodist Church held its annual Glorious Giving Market Saturday.
The fundraiser benefits six different organizations including, Heifer International, Arkansas Methodist Family Health, and Arkansas Rice Depot. Participants were given cards that can be sent to friends or relatives to indicate gifts have been given in their honor.
"It's actually a mission fair we just name it glorious giving market because we think when we give to a mission it's a glorious thing that God would be proud of because it helps really needy people," said Patricia Harlan, Leader of Mission Team.
Cornerstone United Methodist Church also set up three fundraising booths; all of the money raised there will be split evenly between all six missions.
