Annie Camp 7th grader, Katie Jackson, says she and fellow students wanted veterans day to be spent speaking with local veterans about their experiences.
Over two hundred 7th, 8th and 9th grade students got an up close look at what serving your country is all about. Students also got to sit down and each lunch with their honored guests.
Project Manager, Katie Jackson, says, "I think it's been a very eye opening experience. It's just been very emotional and touching."
