From Williams Baptist College
The American Midwest Conference released its 2012 All-Conference teams on
Saturday, with four Williams Baptist College soccer players recognized for their
academic achievements.
Senior Henry
Pineda of Green Forrest, Ark.; junior Lucas Braga of Belo Horizonte, Brazil;
junior Khalil de Lima of Sao Paulo, Brazil; and sophomore Edwin Irungu of
Nairobi, Kenya, were a named to the academic all-conference team.
The requirements
to earn the honor are that the student-athlete must be at least in his second
term at the institution and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point
average.
