Names released in deadly morning accident in Paragould

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) – One person has died following a two-vehicle accident on Highway 49 near Paragould Tuesday morning.

According to Brad Snyder with the Paragould Police Department, 39 year-old James Taber of Paragould was killed when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a tractor trailer head-on.

Snyder said following the accident Taber's car caught fire. Taber was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paragould Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the tractor trailer, Eric B. Docks,30, of Midfield, AL, was not injured in the accident.
