JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - KAIT-TV was unable to air the Saturday football game between the Arkansas State Red Wolves and the Troy Trojans.
Below is a note from KAIT-TV Vice President and General Manager Tracey Rogers as to why we were unable to carry the game:
We would like to apologize for our inability to air the ASU Vs. Troy game this past Saturday on KAIT 8.2. We were working with a company out of state to receive a feed of the game, when unfortunately, the company we were relying on had a catastrophic failure of their primary and back up equipment in their satellite truck. This prevented a video feed of the game to go out to anyone. Again, we apologize that you were unable to see the game live Saturday on KAIT 8.2.
Arkansas State went on to win the game 41-34 over Troy. ASU had almost 600 yards of offense, with QB Ryan Aplin accounting for 454 yards in the air. ASU is now 8-3 overall and 6-1 in the Sun Belt Conference.
