McCRORY, AR (KAIT) – Three people were injured after a pickup truck slammed into a gas station in McCrory Thursday morning.

According to McCrory Police Chief James Jackson, around 9:30 Thursday morning an 80-year-old man pulled into the parking lot, and then plowed into the store. The truck went through the wall, into the store, making it all the way to the checkout counter.

Three people were injured in the accident, and one woman had to be airlifted. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.

Police say the cause of the accident remains under investigation.

The store has boarded up the hole in the building, and remains open at this time.
