JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Arkansas State Police say Daniel Hively was killed after he overcorrected and lost control of his pickup truck.

According to ASP, around 11:30 Tuesday morning 30-year-old Hively was traveling northbound on Highway 163 (Harrisburg Rd), when he ran off the east side of the road, overcorrected, and spun out of control and crashed into some nearby woods.

Police say Hively was ejected from the truck, and he was not wearing his seatbelt.

The accident happened near the intersection of Harrisburg Road and Craighead County Road 472.
