FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT)- Two Forrest City residents have been arrested while a search is on for another in connection to a murder from earlier this month.

On November 7, around 7 p.m., Forrest City Police discovered a black male shot to death near Cope Cove. The victim, 31-year-old Diabre Mccraw of Forrest City was identified.

Two days later, FCPD arrested Dwayne Higgins and Michael Duke, both of Forrest City in connection to the murder. The FCPD now has a warrant for Tommy Barber. Barber is being charged with capital murder, aggravated assault and robbery, among other charges.

Forrest City Police Chief Reynolds says, "First, I want to extend my prayers and condolences to the family of the victim, Diabre Mccraw. It is never easy when family loses a loved one to senseless acts of violence. I want to re-assure the citizens of Forrest City that this was not a random act of violence. All parties appeared to have known one another, and have had prior conflict with each other".

Anyone with information on Tommy Barber's whereabouts is urged to contact Forrest City Police Department (870)633-3434 or Crime stoppers (870)261-1499. All calls to Crime stoppers will remain anonymous.

Authorities say to use extreme caution as Barber is armed and dangerous.
