TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

The Alabama Crimson Tide remained #2 in this week's BCS standings behind Notre Dame.

The ranking was announced Sunday night on ESPN. The BCS ranking at the end of the season determines which two teams will play for the national championship at the Discover BCS National Championship Game in Miami, FL, on Jan. 7, 2013.

Here is this week's BCS top 10 rankings:

1) Notre Dame
2) Alabama
3) Georgia
4) Florida
5) Oregon
6) Kansas State

The BCS rankings are determined by computer rankings, the AP Poll, and the USA Today Coaches' Poll. Those three are equally weighted in the BCS rankings.

Earlier Sunday, the Associated Press and the USA Today Coaches polls were released. The following shows the team ranking:

Don't worry. We'll be a lot nicer to the players in the SEC than the Emmy voters were to Netflix. We kind of have to - it's highly unlikely an actor could power clean the equivalent of a human being.
