One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

(WMC-TV) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide AMBER Alert for a Georgia girl believed to be abducted by her father. The TBI believes they may travel through Tennessee on their way
The 2-year-girl who was the center of a multi-state AMBER Alert was found safe at Southand Park Gaming and Racing in West Memphis Friday.

Meier Horse Shoe Pines in Jackson is home to the official Missouri State Christmas Tree to be presented at the Capitol Building in Jefferson City.
The 12-foot tall white pine will be displayed in the Capitol rotunda next week.
