School closing after suspicious package left at school

DONIPHAN, MO (KAIT) – The Doniphan R-1 School will be releasing their students at 12:45pm.

According to the Ripley County Sheriff's Department, Doniphan Police and the Ripley County Sheriff's Department are investigating a bomb threat after a suspicious package was dropped off at the school.

Police say they do have person of interest they are searching for and believe no students are in danger. No details could be released about the person of interest.
