ATLANTA (WTOC) -

The SEC Championship game kickoff is less than 24 hours away, but the festivities have already started in Atlanta.

Fans turned out Friday at the Georgia World Congress Center for the SEC Fanfare Fest. Fans played games, posed for photos and geared up for Saturday's Georgia-Alabama showdown.

The crowd was a relatively even mix of Bulldogs and Crimson Tide fans.

"To me, it's really cool though that everyone has come here from all over the state, just coming here, to watch the game tomorrow," said Crimson Tide fan Cole Simmons. "I hope to come back here in the future because today is just a really fun experience, and I just love it. It has been fun."

Lifelong Bulldogs fan Charles Mansour said he's ready to show the entire country what Georgia's made of.

"We're tired of seeing Alabama and Florida, Tennessee a time or two - LSU a time or two - and now we're here. They describe Georgia as the Miss Congeniality of the SEC, and we can put a stop to that," he said.
