Caruthersville meeting to help fired Hostess employees

CARUTHERSVILLE, MO(KAIT) – Missouri's Rapid Response Team is holding a meeting Monday morning tohelp those facing layoffs from Hostess.

The meeting willtake place at 10:00am at the Missouri Career Center located in Caruthersvilleon Highway 84 west. 

Representativesfrom the Workforce Investment Board of Southeast Missouri will be on hand toassist affected employees with filing for unemployment benefits.  They will also provide information onre-employment opportunities.

Similar meetingshave been held in West Plains and Poplar Bluff, MO.
