PANGBURN, AR (KAIT) – One man is in jail following a vehicle pursuit and altercation with officers.
According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, the pursuit began in downtown Pangburn and ended at 250 Hooper Lane near Lobo Landing. Officers say there was a physical altercation at the end of the pursuit.
Police arrested Robert Hooper and charged him with multiple traffic violations, two counts of aggravated assault, seven counts of terroristic threatening and felony fleeing.
Officers also say at the time of his arrest, Hooper was armed with a Taurus .357 Magnum revolver. His bond has been set at $100,000.
Three more employees of the truck stop chain owned by the Cleveland Browns' owner and Tennessee's governor have pleaded guilty in what authorities call a scheme to cheat trucking firms out of rebates.
