OSCEOLA, AR (KAIT) - The two men arrested for burglarizing several Region 8 WalMarts have plead guilty to theft of property.
According to documents from Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington's Office, Tyrone Bernard and Daniel Robinson pleaded guilty to theft of property in June for charges in Craighead County.
The men were sentenced to 3-10 years in prison, and ordered to pay restitution to the E. Highland Drive WalMart in the amount of $17,794 along with separate court costs.
The pair turned themselves over to Osceola police on December 3, 2012.
When they turned themselves in, they told police they were the hooded men on surveillance video hammering away at a display case containing iPads on November 27, 2012 at the Highland Drive WalMart.
They also told police they were responsible for the rash of electronics thefts at Walmarts in Jonesboro, Paragould, Pocahontas, and Osceola.
