JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Some in Region 8 visited the Jonesboro Malco Theatre for a special movie viewing on Saturday.
The Arkansas Parent Training and Information Center partnered up with the Malco Theatre to put on this special viewing of Rise of the Guardians.
Sensory Saturday is for families that have children with special needs.
This event allows the entire family to enjoy something that they normally wouldn't be able to do.
"Theres a lot of families out there that are in the same boat we are and this is how they can make this happen so this is a great opportunity and we love the malco for doing it,"said Grover Welch.
The Theatre adjusted the sound and the lights so that children with sensory issues were able to enjoy the film.
