Ark. Democrats elect board members at meeting

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Democratic Party has elected members of its Executive Committee Board during a meeting in North Little Rock.

Party members elected 32 board members - eight from each of the state's four congressional districts - during the meeting Saturday.

Democratic Party Chairman Will Bond said in a news release that the party's goals include support of small businesses and public schools in addition to continuing to reduce the sales tax on groceries and expanding healthcare.
