One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A line of storms damaged at least one person and damaged several homes and other property Sunday.
The National Weather Service reported one injury in Viola, Arkansas where strong winds destroyed a mobile home, severely damaged an apartment complex, a barn and several outbuildings.
There was also a report of a tornado touching down in rural Randolph County, about ten miles southwest of Pocahontas. The tornado shifted a house off its foundation and destroyed the second floor. The storm also blew the neighbor's barn into the yard. There were no reports of injuries at this address.
The same line of storms blew trees down into a roadway and destroyed an outbuilding in rural northeastern Ripley County, Missouri. There was also a report of a tornado touching down about three miles southwest of Imboden, Arkansas.
The National Weather Service issued several Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings as the storms passed through Sunday afternoon. The entire region is under a Tornado Watch until 9:00 PM. The line of storms will continue to make its way east, but the storms are not as severe now that the Sun set. Tune to KAIT TV for the latest weather information.
