Images Large Enough to be Seen From Above Earth Created by AAA Flag & Banner
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2012
Speeding objects fell out of the sky near Roswell, New Mexico in October of this year, but instead of flying UFO's, skydiver Felix Baumgartner along with Red Bull Stratos created history with the world's longest freefall from 23.5-miles above the earth. Millions of people worldwide watched the event live on Sunday, October 14, 2012, and later streamed the video via the internet. An event planning agency responsible for promoting the event, not only captured the attention of people worldwide, but successfully commissioned AAA Flag & Banner to provide the larger-than-life graphics for the Stratos Mission Control buildings in Roswell.
AAA Flag & Banner and the event planning agency have paired-up on many large-scale events in the past, not only for Red Bull, but for companies like Nike, Columbia Sportswear, Forza Motors, and Microsoft X-Box. When the time came to select a graphics company for the historic freefall, the agency knew exactly who was capable of producing the special materials needed, and with a strict deadline fast approaching. A Los Angeles-based company, AAA Flag & Banner only had a few days to print the large custom banners for the Red Bull Stratos Mission Control buildings, which needed be large enough to be seen from miles in the air. Custom flags and poles, unique banners with custom frames, and graphics for the Red Bull pavilion were also needed for the occasion. AAA Flag & Banner came through brilliantly for Red Bull Stratos and Felix Baumgartner, delivering the order on-time, as needed.
The 43-year-old's jump--well into the stratosphere--was not quite as timely as AAA Flag & Banner's delivery: high winds thwarted his first attempt. However, after five years of training, several balloon flights, test jumps and foiled attempts, Felix Baumgartner remains the first and only man to break the speed of sound during a freefall jump. Baumgartner's descent lasted nine minutes and nine seconds, breaking the sound barrier in the process. His freefall topped speeds of over 830 miles per hour, extreme conditions for the human body to bear.
Both Baumgartner and the mission control team celebrated beneath the Red Bull Stratos logos as the world looked-on in awe. Highly satisfied with AAA Flag & Banner's efforts, the agency praised the quality of materials provided for the historic event; AAA Flag & Banner was pleased to be a part of history in the making.
