All of the same great services provided before the change will still be available to the lupus community, along with new and exciting opportunities.
St. Clair Shores, Michigan (PRWEB) December 13, 2012
The Michigan Lupus Foundation represents the over 85,000 Lupus Warriors in Michigan and northern Indiana, and is the only nonprofit organization located in the state of Michigan dedicated to helping people understand how to live with lupus.
Earlier this year, the Board of Directors of the Lupus Alliance of America – Michigan Indiana Affiliate decided to return to the original name of the organization: the Michigan Lupus Foundation. The new name took effect December 1, 2012, however all of the same great services provided before the change will still be available to the lupus community, along with new and exciting opportunities.
In addition to the name change, you will see an increase in interactivity and services provided by the Michigan Lupus Foundation. There will be monthly events to become involved with, enhanced support services, more frequent cutting edge information and electronic communications, as well as increased scientific donations targeted towards lupus research.
The Michigan Lupus Foundation is proud to announce that a brand new website is now available for use at milupus.org. This new website provides you with more resources than ever before for the latest in lupus news, research and coping mechanisms.
The Michigan Lupus Foundation is extremely excited about the opportunities for the future, and is thrilled to have your support!
