    Southwest Drive was closed during the morning rush Friday after crews battled a house fire.

MOUNTAIN HOME, AR (KAIT) – A police chase ended with the suspect flipping his vehicle and put behind bars.

According to a press release from Arkansas State Police, 27 year-old Arthur B. Tunnicliff was fleeing from police on US 62, east of Mountain Home.

The pursuit ended on the Sheid Hopper Bypass when Tunnicliff tried to make a right hand curve too fast and lost control of the vehicle.

ASP says he traveled off the right side of the road, hit a tree, and flipped.

He was arrested and faces numerous charges, including felony fleeing and DWI.
