NEWTOWN, Connecticut (RNN) - Police have cleared the scene after a church in Newtown, Connecticut was evacuated on Sunday after a reported threat.
Authorities told CNN they found nothing at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Police gave the "all clear" sign at the church at around 1:15 p.m.
State troopers, police and ambulances were on the scene investigating.
According to the Associated Press, at least a dozen police in camouflage SWAT gear and carrying guns arrived at the church.
There was no official report from police about the threat or evacuation.
The church is roughly a mile from the site of Friday's school shooting where 20 children were killed.
