Kennett Police arrest man after tip

KENNETT, MO (KAIT) -  A tip on a suspected meth lab leads Kennett police to arrest one man for an outstanding warrant.

KPD received a tip about a possible meth lab on Court St. in Kennett.

Officers found no evidence of an active meth lab, but discovered that one of the individuals at the home had a valid warrant for his arrest.

Officers arrested Jonathon Nicholas Tucker.  Before being handcuffed, Tucker fled from officers on foot.

They chased him over a short distance and arrested him without further incident.

Officers plan to charge Tucker with resisting arrest by fleeing, on top of Tucker's current warrant.
