Florida native signs with WBC Eagles Baseball

From Williams Baptist College

The Williams Baptist College baseball team has received a signed commitment from Austin Wilson of Green Cove Springs, Fla.  The commitment was received on Monday, December 17.

The catcher has enjoyed a stellar high school career, batting .375 with 12 doubles and a homerun to his credit.   His high school made it to the state semi-finals as well.

Wilson will graduate in May from Clay High School.  He is the son of Dwayne Wilson of Green Cove Springs.  He was joined at the signing by Eagles head coach Frank Lee, as well as Wilson's father, his grandparents and his high school coach, Josh Persinger.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge. The Eagles compete in the American Midwest Conference of the NAIA.
