Power restored to Blytheville after winds, storms

BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) – In the wake of high winds and storms, there were about 700 Entergy Arkansas customers who were in the dark in Blytheville Thursday morning.

According to Entergy Arkansas, Inc. 698 customers are experienced the outage which started just before 9 Thursday morning.  The crews have been able to restore most of the power in the city.

The energy company's website states there are still 3 outages in Blytheville with 21 customers affect.  Those remaining customers now have power restored.

Entergy states the outage is due to "thunderstorms along with the high winds that have moved through the area".
