Singing flash mob at Mall at Turtle Creek

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A group of strangers came together Saturday afternoon to spread holiday cheer with a random act of kindness.

A group of people surprised shoppers at the Mall at Turtle Creek by singing Christmas carols in the food court.

Rhonda Prine, one of the organizers said she was inspired by a Youtube video of a Christmas flash mob at a mall in California.

"We wanted to create that in Jonesboro, just a moment to think about what the real reason behind the season is. We just wanted to share it with Jonesboro."

Prine said the group was a random mix of people and did not represent a particular organization or church.
