Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones! I went to bed
with a wonderful wish, no, prayer on my lips last night. It was spurred by
driving back to Jonesboro and listening to wonderful Christmas music. One of my
favorite renditions of Little Drummer Boy is the Bing Crosby and David Bowie
duet. It's truly lovely.
The lyrics: "I pray my wish will come true/For my child and
your child too/He'll see the day of glory/See the day when men of good will/Live
in peace, live in peace again"
For your family I hope you find comfort, love and joy in this
Christmas Season. Place the squabbles aside, ignore the petty jealousy that can
invade our lives for one day, and be glad you can hug those closest to you
tonight and tomorrow. This holiday is about the purest of Love. Bask in it, and
share it with as many as you can.
On the Eve of Christmas I do hope and pray that my child and
your child, too, can know and care enough for his neighbor to one day help spread
joy and peace on this earth.
Blessings,
Sarah
