One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Once again, police and prosecutors have shut down a Beale Street nightclub that has been the site of numerous incidents of violence and shootings for two decades.
Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich, Memphis Mayor A C Wharton and Memphis police officials on Thursday announced that Club Crave at 380 Beale St. has been closed as a public nuisance.
The Commercial Appeal reports that the club was called Plush Club in July 2011 when it was shut down after a nuisance complaint and financial lawsuit were filed. The club reopened two months later. Since 1992, 21 people have been shot in or around the club with the last shooting on Christmas Eve, leaving one man dead and two others injured.
