Goodwill's Career Center supporting jobs for 2013

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - As 2012 is coming to an end, people are looking to begin their New Year's Resolutions. For some, a new year means a new job or career.

Goodwill's Career Center is a place to get the skills you may need to succeed in 2013.

"Resume writing, interview training, how to dress for an interview, how to keep a job once you're there." "If you're having difficulties, what are some resources that you can go to for help you keep that job," said Goodwill Career Specialist Heather Parsons.

Signing up for their orientations is the first step to take to get started. After the first orientation, Parsons explains that clients are able to have one-on-ones, to focus on their individual needs.

"We can pull out those skills that they do obtain, highlight those and show them the direction where they can go get a job," said Parsons.

Goodwill's career center is free and open to the public. They have two locations in Jonesboro and in Paragould.

If interested, the first orientation date is January 8 from 2 p.m. to 4.pm.
