POPLAR BLUFF, AR (KAIT) - Police have made multiple arrests on the case of the man who was going to be questioned about two sexual assault charges in the middle of a robbery.
According to the Poplar Bluff Police Department, investigators have arrested 30-year-old Stephan "Wayne" Anderson of Poplar Bluff. He was hiding in a residence and after a search warrant was issued he was taken into custody.
While police were making the arrest they came upon a quantity of illicit narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and several firearms.
Anderson is now booked on multiple Butler County warrants such as, Failure to appear on an original charge of robbery, Burglary of 2nd degree, and for Statutory Rape.
He wasn't alone in the arrests, 55-year-old Danny Reed Sr. was arrested on charges of Unlawful possession of firearms by a convicted felon, Harboring a Fugitive, and possession of a controlled substance.
The last arrest made in this residence was 41-year-old Dorothy "Dot" Eskridge.
All three are currently being held at the Butler County Jail.
Police say on Saturday the 28-year-old victim reported to police that on December 27 she was forced at gunpoint to drive to Poplar Bluff.
The woman told police she was held against her will at a home where she was sexually assaulted.
Early Monday morning police received a report from a 14-year-old Poplar Bluff girl who told officers she too had been sexually assaulted by a man.
