SHARP COUNTY, AR
(KAIT) - Sharp County authorities arrest a man after finding him hidden in the
wall of a retirement community residence.
According to the
Sharp County Sheriff's Department, Jason Jones was arrested Wednesday on a
warrant for aggravated robbery. Sheriff
Mark Counts states officers received a tip Jones was at a residence in the
Ozark Acres community.
Officers found
Jones hiding inside of a wall at the residence.
While being taken into custody, officers say Jones spit out a piece of a
plastic glove containing suspected marijuana.
Sheriff Counts says
the aggravated robbery charge relates to an incident on December 17, 2012,
where the victim told police his truck was stolen from him at gunpoint.
Jason Jones is
currently in the Sharp County Jail awaiting his next court appearance.
